Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a WC26 account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WC26. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts to gain a points advantage are prohibited.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

4. Acceptable use

• No abusive, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit display names or content.
• No impersonating other people, teams, or officials.
• No automated access, scraping, or attempts to manipulate scoring, leaderboards, or other users' data.
• No reverse engineering or interfering with the app's security.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Game rules and scoring

Scoring rules are documented inside the app (Fantasy and Predictor "Rules" buttons). We may correct points, fixtures, or player data when verified errors are found, including retroactively.

6. No gambling

WC26 is a free-to-play skill-based game. There is no real-money entry, no real-money prizes, and no paid features, tiers or upgrades. The app is not gambling.

7. Voluntary donations

• The app offers an optional "Buy me a coffee" donation between £1 and £100. Donations are entirely voluntary.
• Donations do not grant any in-game benefit, advantage, content, feature, entitlement or removal of restrictions. Donors and non-donors play the same game on the same terms.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your card details. When you donate, you are also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
• You must be 18 or older, and the legal owner of the payment method, to make a donation.
• Because donations are gifts and unlock nothing, they are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a donation was made in error or without authorisation, contact us via Support within 14 days and we will review it in good faith.
• All donations are charged in GBP (£). Your bank may apply currency-conversion fees if your card is not denominated in GBP — these are outside our control.

8. Intellectual property

WC26 is not affiliated with FIFA, any national football association, or any club. National flags and team names are used descriptively for the tournament. The app, its design, and its code are owned by us.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
